Smart Tunnel


Ruixing Intelligent Lighting Solution is specifically designed for tunnel lighting scenarios, leveraging millimeter-wave radar sensing technology to achieve intelligent lighting control. By continuously monitoring vehicle positions, speeds, and traffic flow within the tunnel, the system can automatically adjust the brightness of lighting fixtures, creating a dynamic illumination pattern that "lights up when vehicles arrive and dims when they leave." This solution effectively addresses the issue of excessive energy consumption in tunnel lighting while ensuring driving safety, and also significantly enhances visual adaptability at tunnel entrances and exits.

The system adopts a three-tier architecture design. The perception layer consists of millimeter-wave radar devices installed on the tunnel ceiling, responsible for real-time acquisition of traffic flow data. The control layer processes the sensed data via edge computing units and generates corresponding lighting control strategies. Meanwhile, the execution layer employs intelligent dimming controllers to achieve precise regulation of luminaire brightness. Additionally, the system supports dual-mode communication—both RS485 wired and wireless—to ensure reliable transmission and execution of control commands.

This solution leverages intelligent technology to achieve refined management of tunnel lighting. While ensuring driving safety, it significantly reduces operational and maintenance costs, providing crucial technical support for the development of smart highways.
